Canto XV Circle 7 Round iii

Canto XV Circle 7 Round iii

A Poem by Gypsy Willow

Angels cloaked in mystery

Refusing to lead the way

Sitting deep in shadows

Biting back their fears

They know what is waiting

If they ever spoke out

Some things aren’t worth

This wretched immortality

They forever melt into silence

Taking with them the truth

Thinking it may work miracles

No one ever points out

The error of their ways

Without these poetic words

Where would we find ourselves

For people are not angels

They’re beings who must express

The torment that they feel

And the fears that they nurse

Though words may not always help

Even when help is needed most

Fret not over helplessness

For the Fates must have it this way

Eventually the angels will shift

This solid and cold disposition

Allowing once and forever again

The revolution that is deserved
