Cinnamon Bubbles

Cinnamon Bubbles

A Poem by Gypsy Willow

Angels cloaked in twilight
A mystery, or so it would seem
Waiting beneath the Willow
To finally be set free

She holds her breath 'til morn
Wrapped in the sweet embrace
Of a wind that sings a lullabye
So ancient is his face

She looks out to the River
He sneaks along the shore
Whispering of serenity
And wanting nothing more

The Moon, she quickly hides
As the Sun, he shows his face
The Maiden can now let go
She now can leave this place

As she takes in all the beauty
For the final time it seems
She is taken by such emotion
Her feelings creating dreams

"I urge you forth my daughter,"
An ancient voice did croon
"For know you shall return,
And really it seems too soon."

The Maiden listened in wonder
Knowing the words were true
Looking deep within herself
As no one but she could do

"You must return to this life
Lessons are still to be learned
But the path is yours to choose
This time you shan't be spurned."

She finally made her choice
To try living life once again
She tiptoed out of Summerland
Knowing circles never end.
