Pumpkin Bars and Apple Cider

Pumpkin Bars and Apple Cider

A Poem by Gypsy Willow

The smile she sports
Is harder to hold
Reality hits
The truth is ice cold.

She's falling behind
She's falling apart
She's losing her mind
She's losing her heart.

There's nowhere to turn
Her options are blocked
Her friends are all gone
The gate has been locked.

Her only resort
She wants to be free
Her gaze rests on you
"Will you help me...?"

I've been writing since I was thirteen and it will always be my passion. I really wanted to go to Pratt to major in Creative writing, but that is a dream left for when I have a larger pocket. I am 19 .. more..
