My tattoos are the inscription of my personal narrative onto my body. They are the self-aggrandizement of 25 years of meager profit mined from the innumerable depths of toil. They're meaning. They're significant. They label me as the salt of the earth, and yet above it.

My tattoos are passing fancies and paradoxes. They are lies and revisions of the most transient order. They represent human failability on Monday night and grace on saturday morning.
