![]() In HollywoodA Poem by William Coad![]() This is actually a song too!!! If you want to learn how to play it I have more musical information on my blog: http://williamcoad.wordpress.com/2014/08/06/poem-in-hollywood/![]() I made this thing, and it took so long, I wrote the words and I played the song- I made sure the tune held it's part and the thing felt was there from the start. And soon now It'll be out there the world will see me they'll finally care And I'll be in Hollywood. One day we'll all be in Hollywood. Prancing up and down with Tykwer and Chris Brown. We'll be guzzling down the toast of the town. One day we'll be in Hollywood. It didn't go exactly as I planned I still don't hold the world within my hand. Though my first three films were a bust, I'm sure this next one will be robust. And you my friend, will come with me We'll make it there Just wait and see. We'll all be in Hollywood. The very place that we should. Marching all day With Tom Cruise and Fay Ray We'll be buttering bread with the lives that we've led... One day we'll be in Hollywood. Like the last one, it didn't go as planned. My best cameraman left my team undermanned. He fell off the cliff side riding his bike. Two days later they found his body on a hike. So this new films for him now, come on and gather around. Let's sing a hymn for him now Let the majesty abound. 'Cause now he's in Hollywood. Yes, tonight it's Hollywood. He made it there with Spielberg and Fred Astaire. He's a star tonight in the sky so bright. One day we'll be in Hollywood. © 2014 William Coad |
