a monster

a monster

A Poem by William

She is a monster, a demon who will not stop her pester.

A tyrant who will make you her jester,

And I try to resist her with all that I can muster.

She just uses an ounce more of her luster.

She is not kind nor compassionate in anything she does.

She has no purpose, no goal, no wave or love.

And she engages with the likes of any man and many at a time

For no one dared try her for her crimes.

Not even her embarrassed mimes.

She is vile and cruel in destroying marriages

And she laughs and spits at men coming out of crashed carriages.

No matter what I do she will not leave.

No matter how many times I plead.

No matter how much I bleed.

She remains neutral.

She is beautiful in only photography.

She is my monster and her name is pornography.

Good writing is supposed to evoke sensation in the reader. Not the fact that it’s raining, but the feeling of being rained upon.”
~ E. L. Doctorow

“It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”
~ Mark Twain

If you turn back in past there were few things which were not under our control, but eventually they usually leave us in sometime. We face them and be completely true to them. If we fake the situations then you will not be protected by Almighty fate. Be sincere and straight forward to others. Our self is more important than others. Keep your good things get your loved things live passionately. But if you faking out with selfishness if you make suffer your own heart and people around who care for you, then Almighty fate will not support you, because you are not doing right..

As above stated great sentences, you are thinking that you know that she cant leave you and you believe that it is true, what if someone makes you to chose career you would say i want to chose mine, if you are forced to chose career by someone then it would change or lead to what you wanted. But when it comes to heart love wedding i think it would definitely lead to what you needed, thats your sub conscious leading to you what you need. Dont stress out yourself for true hearts there are ways that God will protect you, if things are not under your control.

I saw in many movies books of love either they ended happily for both lovers to wedding or both ended their life....
I believe in my true love and i kept alive protected it. It will definitely protect you back. So dont scare dont be surrendering too say it out my dear kanna whom you love and want to share life with your love.

I was just wondering why Lord Krishna didnt marry where he could as he married 9 ladies and no one objected for next to get marry? Maybe she is not from king dynasty and from poor family or else she might hav died early missing krishna.

Anyhow everything is possible for true hearts never take misleading routes fake promises say it out to this world i am not into porno i just need loving wife AND mother who just loves me..

It’s pestering, but you needed a rhyme, so... But that’s not how poetry works. The rhyme is an accent, not the purpose, and the word should be so perfect for the thought being expressed that the rhyme seems almost accidental. But, you’re constantly bending the line to the needs of the rhyme, which detracts.

Your lack of defined stanzas also gets in the way. Like paragraphing in prose, they serves a purpose.

You need to dig deeply into prosody, because it’s the major thing that makes poetry , as Shakespeare puts it, flow “trippingly on the tongue.”

A really great resource and intro to prosody can be found in the excerpt from Stephan Fry’s, The Ode Less Traveled, on Amazon. I recommend reading it to all kinds of writers.

And for poetry, in general, you also might want to read Mary Oliver’s, A Poetry Handbook.

And as luck would have it, my own Naked B***h, posted here, though with a different objective, parallels this piece in many ways, and may illustrate what I mean.
