Ignite Like a Fading Star

Ignite Like a Fading Star

A Poem by alexAlexander
"

Rebirth yearns for rebirth.

"
Ignite Like a Fading Star
The instinct to endure, while witnessing the fading crescent, radiance light. Flicker and flame: like a farewell candle.  An  immense vigor calls to  faded glory under the weight of endless eons.
The shadows slowly descend, drifting like a never-ending stream. Where once it served to nourish and sustain life, now the pull is effortless, without any intervention from mankind.
This spark ignites within, kindling the morning sun and illuminating the night sky. But now, the once fiery sun is reduced to a feeble cry of heat, churning in the winds with volatile cosmic energy, creating a spectacle of flickering lights.
Embark on a journey through a fiery mind, of the star seeds.
Until, at last, a new Genesis rises, outshining the eons that came before, fueled by determination and burning bright across the universe, bridging the gaps between worlds and infusing life into the next generation.
Our legacy, a trail of stardust, yearning for rebirth.

I think some of us re-birth in the changing seasons, we find new life, new spirit, new meanings... time does not stand still, because if it did we would not be able to find solace in new beginnings....A star cold be a new re-birth of life, shinning upon us from dawn to dusk....with enough energy to keep the earth nourished...Warmly, B

That final line is incredibly beautiful. The rebirth of a new star. I particularly liked the description and imagery your lines gifted.

You are welcome my friend.
I loved this whole poem for the fading of a star and the birth of a new one. I especially liked the last two lines in this unique poem.
