Words Matter

Words Matter

A Poem by alexAlexander
"

It's all in how you express them.

"

The words hold significance and power,

As they cascade like a muse, drawing you in

To a realm of imagination and connection.

In this realm, waterfalls of thoughts

Descend upon consciousness, filling it

With a profound intensity.

It is a wisdom known to the moon,

Perched high above all limitations.

Fields shiver, icy creeks run blue,

And distant birds sing songs of wetlands,

Creating vivid imagery of sinking ships,

Appearing magically in the intersection of performance.

Words like falling leaves, dance, and sway.

They command attention, unseen yet felt,

A mysterious force bridging creativity and emotion.

The way they communicate is captivating,

Never to be dismissed or ignored.

Their interpretations should be nurtured,

Like seeds in a garden, finding harmony

In like-minded souls, enriching the soil

Of intelligent contemplation.

Lucky me … I get 1st review!🍀

It's true, what you say, Alex....
Words can be like a sharp-edged sword that cleave thoughts and feelings as though they have no value. Words, spoken with kindness and love, can spring to life in the bosom of even the most distraught individual, or they can offer wisdom and light to the innocently ignorant. Words! We cannot even think or feel without then … they define and bring to life our entire universe.
(edited for punctuation and capitalization) I was particularly struck by the imagery and metaphoric beauty in poetic voice of:
"Words, like falling leaves, dance and sway.
They command attention, unseen; yet, felt …
a mysterious force bridging creativity and emotion.
The way they communicate is captivating,
never to be dismissed or ignored."

Overall, a great work here, My Friend, everyone
should contemplate the importance of.
Well, Spake, Syr! ⁓ Richard🖌
