Tom Thimbleton

Tom Thimbleton

A Poem by Willem Gray
"

I tried to be clever

"

Tom Thimbleton

Tom Sower sallied over to Fred

who said, lest it escaped from his mind,

that Sally had retired and headed to find

her bed.

A search which lead

to the attic, ecstatic she cried

out her love to John, who had recently moved

her bed to the ROOF!

Tom Sower decided

to protect his finger.
