Why I Write (Noise)

Why I Write (Noise)

A Poem by Savior of Time

Why do I write?

I write to drown out the noise

The colors of the trees

They scream at me

The words behind the music

They whisper dramatic stories

The rain from the clouds

They speak of peace

The footsteps of the people

They sing about love

The pictures on the wall

They cry over memories

And most of all

Why do I write?
To drown out the noise

The scars on my arms make

The scars on my legs make

The scars are silent

But their silence is the loudest noise of all.
