Lovely

Lovely

A Poem by Savior of Time

Isn't she lovely...?
More lovely than me?
Slender, tall, beautiful.
Funny, nice, thoughtful.
If you were
To let her go,
You'd be throwing away
A dazzling, glistening diamond.
If you were
To lift me up
After letting her go,
You'd be picking up
A rough, dull rock.
Do you really want
An ugly stone?
Of course not.
I didn't think so...
