Chapter 2: Meeting the Zarogins

Chapter 2: Meeting the Zarogins

A Chapter by Savior of Time
"

Zia meets the group of Zarogins that came to Earth.

"

One of the male Zarogins"obviously the leader"turned around and faced young Zia, then all the other monsters following. Stepping back, she knew there was no way she could escape them"especially with their full-grown wings.

“Ah, now what do we have here? A little girl?” the lead Zarogin spoke.

“Oh my gods, just because I’m a little short for sixteen doesn’t mean I’m a little girl! Golly!” Zia exclaimed, then quickly covered her hand with her mouth.

“Temper much?” a girl Zarogin said.

“Now, now, Tiaka. There’s nothing wrong with a little spice on a young girl,” the leader said.

“Oh, shut your yap, Darium. Just because Mom chose you to be Commander instead of me doesn’t mean you get to baby me. I’m only two years younger than you,” Tiaka snapped.

Zia chuckled under her breath until Tiaka shot her a look. She quickly silenced and then spoke to the monsters.

“Look, I’m not just some girl who mysteriously found you Zarogins,” Zia said, slowly walking towards the herd.

There’s no use in trying to lie to them. They’ll be able to see through my act easier than Wiley being able to predict what Riley’s going to put down in “Rock, Paper, Scissors.” Zia thought to herself. It’s better to tell the truth, then I can strike the leader"Darium. Thankfully Zarogins love their leaders.. Or anyone of them who’s on top, really..

Zia sighed, “I’m a monster hunter, but I’m not going to hurt you"“

“HA! Yeah, right! Last time one of you said that our king fell,” another female Zarogin exclaimed angrily.

                “Shut up, Lya!” Tiaka hissed.

“What?! I’m just saying! It’s true..”

What is with these Zarogins? They act like little kids! They’re even worse than the twins! Zia thought to herself.

Stepping in front of them, Darium spoke to Zia. “I’m sorry, Miss.. What is your name?”

“Zia. Zia Arveall. I work at Harnt’s Monster Hunting Company. Now, I’m going to ask you again; why did you come here?” Zia asked curiously and suspiciously.

“Ah, Ms. Arveall, you should know that my group will do nothing to hurt you,” Darium said. “We just want what your company stole from us!”

Before Zia could react, Darium flew at her"knocking her to the ground. Zia landed hard on her back and groaned.

“Ugh! Why do you always get to hurt the hunters?! It’s not fair!” Tiaka angrily exclaimed. “Well, I’ll show you!”

Tiaka flew towards Zia faster than a bullet. By the time she was able to sit up, Tiaka was standing in front of her. She pushed her older brother away angrily and shot him a look. She looked back at Zia; and lifting her up with her inhuman strength, Tiaka laughed.

“You’re hilariously weak. How did you become a hunter?”

A male Zarogin with blood red hair stepped in front of the pack. His face was starting to become as red as his hair.  Angrily, he shouted at Tiaka. “TIAKA, STOP!” With anger in his eyes, he ran at her and knocked Tiaka down.

Screaming as she went down, Tiaka started to wrestle with the male Zarogin. Zia feel back onto her knees as Tiaka was tackled. As she was catching her breath, the two wrestled it out a few yards in front of her. The male Zarogin finally pinned Tiaka down on her back.

“You don’t have to be so violent towards her. She didn’t do anything to you,” he said as he was trying to keep her down.

“Artian! Why are you defending her?! She’s a hunter. She’d kill us in a second if she could"which she couldn’t.”

“QUIT IT TIAKA. She didn’t do anything. If you weren’t the queen’s daughter, I’d slap you,” Artian said, getting off of Tiaka.

“Ugh! What-ever, I’ll stop; but can I please knock her out and bring her to the Realm?” Tiaka begged to her brother and Artian.

Looking at Tiaka, then to Zia, and then back to Tiaka, Darium said, “I’ll allow it. Make sure she’s out cold. We don’t want to remind you about last time.”

Slowly getting up, Zia started chuckling. “You know, I’m pretty surprised that you said please, Tiaka. If someone told me you had manners, they could’ve fooled me.”

Tiaka, with wild yet angry eyes, flew at Zia and knocked her to the ground again. While she was losing consciousness, Tiaka snickered at her. “And if someone told me that you were a monster hunter, they could have fooled me”

Savior of Time
Your thoughts on: Tiaka? Darium? Artian (especially after standing up for Zia)? What do you think happened last time Tiaka brought home a monster hunter who she thought was unconscious?

Sorry it took so long for me to post and it's short. I've been so busy lately and I haven't had any inspiration. Plus, no one's been reading my writing so I think that people don't like my writing. Anyway, I hope you liked it. Please review and leave suggestions. Thanks!
