ColorA Poem by Savior of TimeI've
cut my arms and slit my wrists Thrown
up my dinner and lived the twists But that does not mean I haven't been overjoyed
I've
lied to myself and given up hope Acted
like a jerk and been seen as a dope But
that does not mean I haven't been loyal
I've
run away and then cried my eyes out Depressed
out of my mind and decided to pout But
that does not mean I haven't been happy
I've
haven't worn ripped jeans and tattered clothes Broken
my shoes and had to sew But
that does not mean I haven't felt poor
I've
worn all black and hated the others Lived
in the grey and disregarded outsiders But
that does not mean I haven't dreamed of color © 2013 Savior of TimeAuthor's Note
