Poem for Dying Dove

Poem for Dying Dove

A Chapter by Savior of Time
"

Prologue-type poem for the book.

"
I cannot love one
Who is not like me
Too different on the inside
Is this really meant to be?

I cannot love one
Who is not a monster
Too human all togther
Is this really the babysitter?
~
I don't find a lover
In someone inhuman
Does not look different
Is he really not human?

I don't find a lover
In someone normal
May be hiding themselves
Is she really not paranormal?
~
I won't fall for one
Who I have to hunt
Will I have to kill them
With a knife that's blunt?

I won't fall for one
Who murders my kind
Bloodshed by both of us
Or will we have to intertwined?
~
IS IT POSSIBLE FOR US
TO FALL IN LOVE
BY MENDING EACH OTHER'S
DYING DOVE?

Author's Note

Savior of Time
Came to me while writing the first chapter of the book. Zia's thoughts are red and Raider's are blue. Them together is the purple (haha, I'm smart). Hope you liked.
