This was a little choppy, but overall the shorter lines made it more fluid, not quite the right word but I'm gonna go with it. So... sort of paradoxical huh?
Anywhos, I like how you started it with stating that most of the friendships that say they're gonna last forever don't and end it with one that did. That in itself provides a nice contrast in which to view the current friendship.
