This Is Me

I know I'm different.

I follow my heart,

Close my eyes,

And just flow

My life is a rollercoaster,

I let it take me,

And with it, I let go

I think less,

Every time I do,

And I know I'm fine

I shine like a star,

As I go on,

And now it's my time

I change up the moves,

Though I fall,

I know I'm still bright

I can't live without it,

Takes me everywhere,

And gives my life light

I understand I'm different,

Though I can change,

This is who I set out to be

I don't care what they say,

Won't lose who I am,

This is me

Wow. This is a really powerful piece. I love the way you formatted the stanzas, and the rhyming. It all just flows together really well. And the meaning is great, too: letting people know that you are who you are and no one's gonna change that. Not many people can show their true colors to the world; I know I can't.
