That's where I'll be..

The light streams in through the clear window

On a hot summer’s day

I see the sunlight

Gazing through the window

It’s looking up on me

Tries to wake me from this deep slumber

I do not stir

I cannot move

I do not breathe

My heart has stopped

My breathing will not commence

The sirens may ring

Throughout the neighborhood

But they will never help me

I’m in a better place

They cannot save me from this hell I’m in

They could not save me

They could not save me from the hell I was in

Claw marks on the wall

Show I’ve been dead for long

Not my physical body though

But my silver soul

It’s hard to live

When you know your soul’s been rotting

In the underworld for years and years

It’s hard to love again

When your heart has been stabbed by the knife

The knife that cuts deeply

The knife that cuts slowly

The knife that is yours

You cannot wake me

I will not open my eyes

You may not see me

But forever I will be in your life
