Items of Depression and Enlightenment

Items of Depression and Enlightenment

A Poem by Savior of Time
"

Strange, yes. Confusing, hopefully not.

"
A cloak of darkness,
Is carried on my shoulders,
I need to find a way to get rid of it,
And pass it on to the next one

A ball of light,
Is sent off into space,
I need to find it in the dark abyss,
And use its energy to be happy again

A gown of self hate,
Is lying comfortably on my body,
I need to find a way to burn it,
And never have the ashes found

A chest of happiness,
Is in the deepest part of Earth,
I need to find a way to get down there,
And devour its delicious taste

A crown of despair,
Is resting upon my elegant head,
I need to find a place for it to stay,
And then no one will have to feel its pain

I really loved this poem, especially that third stanza of yours, stunning word choice. Good job on this one Willa!
