Do You?

Do You?

A Poem by Savior of Time
"

For my friend in Gym

"

You call my name,

I don’t turn around,

I can’t bring myself,

To see your reaction,

To my ridiculous confession,

You finally know now,

But I wish I could have held it in,

A little longer,

Just so I could find out,

Whether you did or not,

But I knew that if I didn’t,

Right then and there,

Right here and now,

I wouldn’t have,

Ever,

I know I should try to live life,

Without regrets,

But everyone knows,

That that’s impossible,

But for me,

It’s worse than impossible,

Most people can go a night,

Without regretting something,

Me, on the other hand,

I can’t go ten seconds without it,

Without regretting a thought,

Action,

Or even a breath,

But I told him,

That’s all that matters,

He calls after me,

I run off,

Listening to my feet,

Stomp against the pavement,

I know he isn’t running after me,

For he has a class to get to,

Sixth period art, to be exact,

So now I stand here,

Wondering,

And wanting to ask the question,

Whether or not,

You do

Savior of Time
I confessed to my friend that I like him; only three people know I do--him, my friend Shelby, and Jena. My best friends don't know and won't know unless they read this.. But how'd you like it? Leave suggestions and tips for my writing. Thanks!
