SorryA Poem by Savior of Time
Sorry;
Does it really mean anything? Even if someone apologizes, They can't feel the pain. No one ever knows, How much it hurts to say, "It's okay." I fake the same smile, Everyday, So they wouldn't see it. Sorry; It doesn't really mean anything, Unless you give it a meaning. "I'm sorry that I hurt you," You would always say. "It's okay," I would always lie. All I wanted, Was for you to look past my lie. All I wanted, Was for you to prove you were sorry. You never really were, Sorry. I wish you knew, What I was feeling inside. Now I must give you, My apologies, too. I'm sorry, I wasn't always there for you. I never wanted you, To cry your heart out. I'm sorry, That I hurt you; It was something that I had to live with, Everyday of my life afterwards. I'm sorry, That I can't tell you, What is really wrong. I don't want you, To have tears streaming down your face, Because of me. The reason why I'm changing these sorry's, Is you. I'm sorry, I have been so much trouble, But I promise, To make myself better. You should know, That when I say that I'm sorry, I mean it. But I have one question: When I tell you, That I'm sorry, Will you believe me?
