The TreesA Poem by Savior of TimeThis poem is about the trees and nature.
I see them all around me,
I hear voices everywhere I look. I listen to the crackle of the leaves underneath my feet, On the road in which I had took. I walk up to a tree, Put my ears up again its bark. I listen to the heartbeats, To the breaths they take. I grab a branch and up I go, Climbing higher and higher up the tree. I hear its voice talking to me, "Go to the top, Observe the view. Watch the birds fly, Watch them be free. Look back down at me, Be grateful for the freedom you are given. Be happy for all you have, All you will be given, Because one day it may be gone. The nature around you, Love you for you are now. If you start to change yourself, You will lose our respect. Go up to the top, And remember your freedom in this world." I follow the trees commands and wishes, For nature is my only one true friend. At the top, I absorb the view, I see miles and miles of trees, Bushes, Ivy, Brambles, A river, Birds, Deer, Animals, Plants, Nature. The site is glorious, The site I see is magnificent. I hear the wind in the leaves, In all of my bright-green trees. I climb back down the wise tree, Sliding my hand down its rough bark. Happiness over comes me, As I breathe in the smell of rosemary and pine. I walk down the paths, Watching and listening to the magnificent trees. Cherry blossoms and scarlet oaks, Japanese maples and flowering dogwoods, All around me are trees with beautifully uplifting auras. Whispers and yells from them, Telling me who to choose next. Who to climb, And who to talk to. At the end of the path, The most extraordinary weeping willow I've ever seen. Walking over to the one and only, I see a still, crystal clear lake. I lay down under the tree, Talking aloud while looking at the leaves. "Look over at the swift swan," The Willow had said. I look up watching the swimming swan, Floating to its lover on the other side. They swans lightly touch heads, I can feel the love from across the lake. I lay my head down on the bright green grass, And close my eyes. I think of the wonderful nature around me, While I gradually slip into a deep sleep under the Willow tree.
