Happiness

Happiness

A Poem by Savior of Time

Happiness.
Does it have a definition?
I never knew until I met you.
You are the light in the dark.
You are the warmth in the cold.
You are the happiness in the gloom.
Happiness was never mine to hold,
Until I was able to hug you,
Hold you in my arms.
You are the ray of light in the room,
Bringing happiness everywhere.
Your laugh,
Makes my heart pound.
Your eyes,
Sparkle like the light of a new day.
Your smile,
Could make the entire city bright.
Happiness feels a lot like sorrow,
Especially when you are gone for now,
Because gone for now feels a lot like gone for good.
Happiness always knocks on your door,
You just let it in.
It enjoys being around you,
You know how to let anyone (or anything) feel wanted,
Happy.
Before I die,
I want you to know,
I fell for you the first day we met.
When I looked into your sparkling eyes,
I fell hard.
My heart melted,
At the very sight of you.
I just want to tell you,
That you are my happiness.
You make me smile,
During the must glum and gloomy days.
You're silly jokes,
Make me laugh even though I don't want to.
You've helped me through all the roads,
I thought I would have to travel alone.
I just wanted you to know,
I thought that you should know,
That you are my happiness.

No, I didn't necessarily base this off of someone, so don't even go there. Leave suggestions and tips for my writing please! Thanks!
