Chapter 1: InstructionsA Chapter by StarcallerThe exiles recieve the letter for their departure and how they will dispatch and the terms and time before they will be welcome back.I breathe deeply looking at the silvery ceiling and twist my curly, black hair into knots as I wait. My bags are already packed and set beside the door leaving the room bare. I sit up and look into the mirror at my reflection. I trace the small scar on my cheek with my finger tips and rearrange my hair. I look closely into my bright green eyes checking for any changes since the surgery, all good. My light, tan skin is slightly bruised with small cuts but nothing permanent...other than the new scar on my cheek. I hear a sound like a little silver bell from my computer and stand up to see if it is the instructions on the terms of our exile. The letter is from the council...must be it. Commander Astrid Delia; You are the highest ranked official left in the White Knight Division and therefore are now responsible for the three hundred and seventy people left in you division out of the original six hundred. You may choose officer's to help you watch over your division. The warriors, scientists, and engineers will each be put in separate cruisers and therefore not all your crew will be available, this was done so that each ship could be designed to each groups specific needs. Each ship has quarters for each person and quarters for the many more to come. Ships are also stocked with enough supplies for two weeks, fighters, transports, and enough money for the whole trip hopefully. Note that all this is done so that you can show your worth to your people, to redeem yourselves. It pains me to do it to you and the other six divisions as I think of all of you as my children but it is not my decision...so here are the instructions for your exile. It is not permanent if you decide to meet the requirements below. 1. Build each division to full strength (six hundred for you.) 2. Free the world of Rey-Desha and find the missing S.S division 3. This item will be revealed after the completion of stages one and two. Your list of personnel will be sent in a separate letter tomorrow when you depart. The Matron I read the letter several times somewhat devastated by the weight of command and the tall order the council has given us. What are we to do... As I am looking at the letter the door to my room opens and J.J walks in. "So how is my patient?" He asks in a somewhat concerned tone. "Ok...I guess" "Well I wanted to tell you that we are going to hold a meeting about the hrmmm... the instructions." "okay, I'll be there in awhile." I watch as he moves his hand through his thick black hair "right, see you then." he walks away slowly and the sleek silver door slides shut behind him. hmm...J.J. Later... I look around the room and realize that only six of the division's leaders including myself where there. "Are we missing someone..." J.J looks at me "No we are supposed to rescue the S.S division and that will be the seventh." One of the leaders stands up "My name is Zula Fallon and I am the leader of the Vidar Division. I think the best way to start this meeting is to introduce ourselves." Some of the others nod in agreement and Kelly stands up as Zula takes her seat. “My name is Kelly Belenus of the Sawbones Division." "My name is J.J Walker of the Legionary Division." I stand up reluctantly and introduce myself and continue watching the others introduce each other. "I am Emi Honoka of the Daichi Division." and the last person stands "I am Adonis Balthazar of the Damir Division." Well that took long enough... Zula pulls out a folder with the instructions and the list with her personnel. "Now this seems like a tall order..." really, I had no idea. “but I think we can do it. I think we need to move to step two before step one though." I look at her curiously "but don't you think we will need the numbers to take it back?" I ask. She hesitates a moment "yes, but how can we go back to full when we are missing a division." "I think that is a wise choice" Emi replies. "So, we will save the Shadow Star Division and then work towards taking Rey-Desha?" A sound idea. After some good old debating we think it best to go to Rey-Desha first.
