Luna and the Eclipse

Although a living terror has escaped the confines of her prison down on the Earth, Viper has another experiment on the moon that needs taken care of.

Log #1:

"First day on the job...very exciting. My name is Lianna Grace and I was just given the chance to work with Viper on a project they call Eclipse. We are developing cybernetics mostly I believe. Tomorrow we are to pick our test subjects...not to sure what they meant but I'll just let myself wonder."

 

Log #2:

"Wow...it has already been one week. Time seems to fly while we work on this project. Let me catch you up...So far we have picked our subjects. Mine is an android named Alice Knight that looks around fifteen...but she is around forty years old. I will spare the details of her sad story but the machinery that covers her body is magnificent. It preserves itself and is what slows down her aging process. It had to be developed by someone with an incredible knack for technology...I mean if Alice's story is true then it would have to been created almost thirty years ago."

 

"James we don't have time to go through every log skip to number forty-three."

"It's your mom Jazz...but whatever."

 

Log #43:

"It has been around two years since we started this project and I am intrigued by all we discovered. Today we are going to see if it paid off with the first practice launch... can't wait to see how it goes. The robotic bodies equipped with the newly finished AI should put on quiet a show."

Log #57:

"I...I don't know how long it has been three...four never mind. The AI was recently repaired...don't want a repeat of last time. We where attacked...but I don't know what we where attacked by. We think that we should reactivate Eclipse but...we are not sure that would help us. My subject and two others are missing, and we found three others dead. I don't now what it is but it is picking us off one by one. I could be next so I need to give the code for the mechs...it is Starkiller. If things get desperate though you need to release Eclipse wake them by saying The song of Death Plays Clearly and to deactivate them you must...No!...Stay away!...Get away!" Jazzmina turns away from the screen as something begins to consume her mother.

 

"Err...Uhm. I'm sorry...about your mom."

"Don't worry about it James...Lets see if those mechs are still around." They walk through the dark abandoned halls of Viper's research compound and in this darkness something watches from the shadows.

 

Back in the Canadian research facility...

"Sir I don't understand...If they where our best, why is she dangerous to us?"

The director turns toward her "I don't have all their stories but here."

He hands her a folder titled "Chaos".

She looks at him puzzled "Sir?"

"Just read it."

She pulls off the band around the file opening the folder. "Read it aloud."

"Yes sir. Name: Lianna Grace...Sir isn't that the scientist? Isn't she dead?"

"It is and no, we melded her with the girl."

"Hmm...Alias: Chaos Bio: Lianna Grace was a scientist on Viper's research facility on the moon. After one of the divisions released the horrible monsters they had been working on she lost her arm but not her life like most believe. We designed the video to cut out to feign her death. Her subject found mechanized armor and saved many of the scientists working throughout the facility and later disappeared. After that close call Mrs. Grace decided she wanted training to defend herself and we taught her willingly. She was already a talented scientist but she wasn't the same woman she had been five years ago. After replacing her arm with a cybernetic limb she became an assassin for us. She slowly replaced other limbs with the cybernetics and began developing biological weapons to destroy her targets cell by cell. All her money was funneled to her children...and they never knew she was alive, but that was the choice she made. She became known as Chaos because of the fear and terror induced in her targets. The things she had done where taking its toll though...her biological weapons where affecting her nerves and she was going insane and the mechanical parts starting draining her and we shut her down. We did however find a project she was working on to transfer souls and saving souls. We saved hers for the knowledge she possessed." She looks through the pictures and other schematics in the folder. "I had no idea...she was alive all that time."

"We gave her the choice...we had no idea what it would do to her."

"But...what about the other two?"

"That information is only available to the leader of their individual projects. Wraith and Fire is what they called the other two...but Fire's file is in the Viper desert project held by the project leader...and Wraith's profile is located on the homebase in Viper Bay held by the security captain."

His assistant looks up from the file at him "Could I do some research?"

"I was hoping you would"

Later that day as she looked through the file some more she found a key,  several videos regaurding to "The First Blade of Viper", and a few journal entries regaurding to "The Lost Soul" and cordinates to several locations across Canada. After noting the cordinates and other files she found she headed for the Steelhead project in the desert base.
