With You

I'm missing you more and more lately, it's making the distance harder and harder.

I miss you so much tonight,

Your arms wrapped around me,

Tightly kept in your embrace,

Your heart beat, beat, beating,

 

Those soft lips upon mine,

Whispering sweet words in the dark,

Sweeping hair out of my eyes,

A smile creeping into your baby blues,

 

Fingers drifting across bare skin,

Dreams flitting into midnight skies,

Wandering across our tired limbs,

Concrete in our interlace fingers,

 

I miss you so much today,

Your laugh, your grin, your everything,

So far away today, painfully so,

Working and toiling in another city,

 

Wishing I had those hands entangled with mine,

Dreaming of your teasing remarks,

The way you look at me, caressing me,

As if nothing could be better than this,

 

My heart beat, beat, beating for you,

Waiting to dance in your arms again,

Knowing no other place is better,

Than living my life with you.
