Reality of TruthA Poem by WillaDanversPeople go through things and sometimes they just need to know that we love them. Don't hesitate to tell people that you love them. Maybe they need to be reminded.
It's having no knives in the kitchen drawer when you want to cook,
It's having to keep your razors in your top drawer in your room, Nothing in the house lying around but simple fluff and dust, Because someone you love can't think straight, or control their actions. It's crying yourself to sleep at night at the thought of losing them, The thought of them slipping through your fingers so easily, Until they are no longer with you, but lying 6 feet under, And there is nothing you can do because they are lost. Gone. It's asking yourself why the world is so cruel and cold, Why should they suffer when they did nothing wrong? Why are they losing themselves to the dark when they, Are nothing but pure, part of the light in your life?! Depression is more than the human eye can see, or assume. So be kind. Love everyone. Love yourself. And don't forget to breathe. People love you, they always do. They are waiting for you, at the other end of the tunnel. Depression is more than just blood, death, pain and suicide. Depression is friends, family, life and limbo. It's those waiting for you to find yourself, and save yourself, Pleading for your safety in this world of sin.
