My Home In YouA Poem by WillaDanversThe future is a scary thing, but I think I'll survive with you by my sideIt’s
more of a sense of being home, A
warmth that floods my bones, Not
the fluttering of butterflies, But
the comfort of years to come,
A
hand to hold always, Ears
always willing to listen, A
soul that is paired with mine, The
knowledge of a perfect fit,
A
smile I cannot forget, Those
eyes that are soft, A
laugh and joy shared with me, A
home that has chosen to love,
Sweet
whispers of nothings in ear, Twirling
me on the dancefloor, Soft
kisses as I drift to sleep, Holding
me close, reassuring me,
Wiping
my falling tears, Saying
exactly the right things, Handing
me a cup of coffee, When
my frown is ever so dominant,
Loving
me more than I could ever do, A
sturdy companion, holding me, Making
me live more than I thought possible, By
loving you more than I dreamed I could. © 2017 WillaDanversFeatured Review
