One FlowerA Poem by WillaDanversSmile and your heart will followThe green of those that accompany, The shades of those that impress, The sweet smell of the inner colour, The joy of the idea they do bring,
Thrown around, bring us more, Printed on cloth, canvas and paper, Feminine, dainty and powerful, Innocent, dangerous, many a meaning,
The red of innocent blood, The white of heavenly peace, The pink of sweet intentions, The yellow of lifelong sunshine,
Celebrating the happy of life, Decorating the connection of marriage, Laid to rest on the casket of death, All around we do see, one or more,
Tucked behind the ear of her, Clenched between his pearly whites, To you I give this red, red rose, To you I offer the beauty of a flower,
Marking the beauty you share, Inducing a twinkle in those soft eyes, Making your heart do a double take, A smile so sweet, no flower can compare. © 2017 WillaDanversFeatured Review
