A search to rememberA Poem by WillaDanversAn idea has been planted, and would like to know your thoughtsHalf the world away, A traveller in the making, Bringing the sunshine with, To leave a lasting impression, Happened to stumble across, That smile and twinkle in an eye, But not a believer of fate, Just in the things we do make, A little something extra caught my eye, Capturing attention one and all, With a few spoken words, you had caught, A young kiwi lass, unable to look away, Said to be single and looking, Unsure of the sincerity of simple words, I couldn't bring myself to share, The name I was given at birth, This is me throwing the ball, and waiting for the chance to know, The young lad with the twinkle, Located in the city of Dublin, Maybe an admirer only to remain, Carrying what if's upon one's shoulders, Or friends a possibility, only one way to know, Is to follow the name I leave with you.
