Sunset of DawnA Poem by WillaDanversFlying over Australia it looked like the world was on fire and suddenly it hit me, Inspired. It's the fire of nights, and the yellows of dreams, It's the blue's of peace, and the light of day, Keeping us bound, one by one, Our souls alight, red, yellow and orange, Burning bright until the calling of home, A peaceful blue, surrender of harmony, A nurturing green pushing our success, Riding the bass of maroon, supporting all, Upholding future whilst remembering past, Melodiously intertwined, studiously bound, Fading into black but not forgotten, Resting till the end of another day, A different array of memories cast, Across the passing of your constant days, A beautiful picture forever in memory, Dreams resting in our shadows, Held by the fire's of nights, Yellow's of peace and blue's of nights, Riding the bass of maroon, supporting all, Upholding future whilst remembering past, Burning bright until the calling of home, A beautiful picture forever in memory.
