Your SongA Poem by WillaDanversA memory of mine
Soft hands amongst the whispers of wind,
Riding on the tunes of your guitar,
Your voice a melody in the midst of storm,
Drifting down from the branch on which you sit,
Sunshine caressing my weary features,
Chirping birds a blessing to my broken soul,
Your graceful words, and soft notes,
Strolling around with timeless ease,
The world bustling around the three of us,
Not stopping to breathe in the butterflies,
Wind whipping at their coats with harsh words,
While loving us with calm breezes,
Our daring dreams slipping into reality,
Dreary and depressing realities falling back,
A lullaby leaving your untarnished lips,
Charming us, an innocent adventure,
Roots settled far below the ground we walk,
Fingers of leaves caressing the baby blue of sky,
Dancing to the music you weave,
Creating a lifetime of dreams forever bound,
Soft hands amongst the whispers of wind,
A lullaby cast by untainted lips,
Riding on the tunes of your melodious guitar,
Strolling around with timeless ease.
