A daughter's passingA Poem by WillaDanversa dream that came to me inspired me to writeMemory proved to be nothing but painful, Watching her laugh at life, Cry in turn events gone wrong, And look with a sight of admiration,
Her blue eyes gone grey, Red mouth fallen to still, Her dancing arms limp of life, Unable to find the joy in anything,
Clasped together they stood, Tears falling down pained face, Hearts breaking a thousand over one, Life ripped from root and spread over world,
Their creation taken from, Turned into something all could see, Child to victim, Staged amongst the busy of life,
Placed for parent to find, Scream swiftly whispered into thin air, Grief grimly finding way into hearts, Sadness sitting there holding on,
Two standing there in desperation, Oh, say not mine, Closed lids covering mourning eyes, Lips whispering prayers to the lord above,
No longer a birthday to attend, Funeral the only thing in future, Burying their beautiful creation, Leaving their lives in dust with remains,
Killed on a whim, Their little girl, Killed for enjoyment, Taken too soon,
Smiles from afar, Seeing broken hearted embraces, Finding joy in pain of those lost, Planning but the next of this scene.
