Amongst The NoiseA Poem by WillaDanversrandom words brought together to make something... acceptableWings of a butterfly, Eyes of an angel, Soul of a demon, Faith extinguished,
Hands as soft as silk, Words as smooth as gold, Intentions as solid as stone, Love destroyed,
Apologies falling into place, Misconstrued ideas revealed, Aching hearts thrown into battle, Violent screams at midnight,
Claim to love, Claim to forgive, Willingness to move forward, Taken out of context,
Standing still amongst the noise, Closing ears to self-bound rage, No one to blame other than self, For opening heart to demonic lies,
Knowledge of angelic lies, Did naught to quell intrigued mind, Taking hold of insecurities, Ruining what they knew him to be,
A shell of him does but remain, Staring into empty with self-bound rage, Cursing to the wind at simple mind, Sitting still amongst the noise. © 2016 WillaDanversAuthor's Note
