Fall Into MeA Poem by Will.AdamsA sappy, reverent poem prompted by an intimate encounter
Her eyes are wide shut beneath a
slate of paint recently begun to crack A dwindling disguise of decency, doomed by the rise in her pulse and the subtle arch at the small of her back The expectant quiver in her lip my calling sign, a cue that soon brought her body to bask beneath the security of mine It was in the dead of night we lay in a place where there was no darkness A time too transcendent for the task of trivial talk As her head sat back in silence, her neck was told of my intentions by my teeth It was in that moment that a savage scrape against my skin had never felt so sweet From the ruination of the flesh at my back she found herself ravaged in the kindest of ways The only thing louder than her heartbeat is hammer of the headboard, Sounds of her writhing reveled only by the rustling of the sheets Each lull through her lips sent her body tightening in loving lock of horns set to last until the moment we'd collapse, succumbing to out own beastial bliss Our act was temporal but the moment is timeless Love had taught us the feeling of being twice But now we knew of what it felt to become one © 2014 Will.Adams |
