'Death of a Writer'A Poem by Will NeillThis is a new version of an old poem of mine 'Death of a Writer' I wanted to post it in memory of my friend Marie who was one of the first to friend me on W.C‘Death of A Writer’
When I die and leave this place Remember me with saving grace Each word I wrote and sentence given For all thee so was I driven
When no longer can this page constrict My soul of solitude of me depict A lonely image sitting here A ghost upon an antediluvian chair
So when I’m gone don’t mourn for me You never came in life to see The pain I endured to get thus far For this is who we writers are
For and in memory of my good friend Marie here on Writers cafe that passed away recently I will miss your charm.
