I'm placing this poem up again as a tribute to my friend Marie who I have just learned has passed away recently. She was one of the longest and most prolific writers on W.C and her own poems and stories were some of the best I've read. She will be sadly missed.
I do not want anyone to comment on this post, it is not about me, but to reflect on Marie's poems and stories and comment on her's she deserves it most.
Thank You

This is beautiful, Will. You expressed a writer's goodbye poem in a style I deeply adore. (Not many poets these days are skillful when it comes to that.) The first two lines are endearing to read, as it flooded me in a sea of sadness. The fourth line, I think, doesn't seem to be in harmony with the musicality of this piece. I suggest it to be a bit longer.
The speaker seems to be a a writer whose works are not appreciated. I wish not be like him/her.
