'Pumpkin Head'

A Poem by Will Neill
"

A short poem for the halloween season. Its just a bit of fun.Nothing serious.

"

' Pumpkin Head'

I like to kiss you when you sleep

I like to take little things to keep

An earring, sock or snip of hair

You'll never know just when and where

********

I like to move things that’s how I play

I come alive when you're away

I'll breathe your name when you sit alone

And stand behind when you're on the phone

***************

I'll touch your hair when I feel brave

cos, I'm the one who walks across your grave

So do you know who's in your head

I'm the monster who lives under the bed

You're welcome! Last year's pic, should probably update it!
I so like the teasing spookiness of what seems to be a neat, formatted phrases. But, you've managed to combine the Hallowe'en theme and just a touch of naughtiness. Fun!

Nice. I love Halloween as much as I can and this is awesome. I can just picture a brown pumpkin doing this now.

Spooky and sensual...such a combo! This sort of monster is one most of us would not mind running into! Lydi**

The ending stumped me. It started romantically and then the twist. Great poem, bringing on a smile.
