                             A Teardrop mist on an Autumn Moon

                                     A stolen kiss gone to soon

                                 A sweet caress that longs to last

                           Leaves memories dear of a time that’s past

You gave this poem a gentle voice, but I could see the heartbreak more somehow without the overstating of the situation... Some days, we don't even have the energy to lament with vigor and we just pen a simple and profound sorrow.
Nice flow to the read as well. I enjoyed the read.

it's worth quite a bit to me...a reminder of my first love from high school...and i still treasure the memories of her, even if we did go separate ways in the end...

i have seen her over the years a few times, and there is still a tinge of that "stolen kiss gone too soon."
