Walk ManA Poem by WillWe all recognize him, but do we know him?
A toddler of the street today
was pushing her toy stroller, when she looked at her mother as I was looking over. She turned to her mommy and said "Mommy, who is that guy?" Mom said "What guy, sweetie?" Little girl giggling, "That man on the sign!" I couldn't help but chuckle At that little exchange. But then it got me thinking, Was it really all that strange? The little white man, in a walking position. He's telling us to walk; do you think he's a mortician? Perhaps he's a soldier, Going off to war. Maybe he's just a father, walking to the store The little street light walk man; who could he be? I guess he could be anyone, even you or me. © 2013 WillAuthor's Note
