Lord Stanley's Cup

Lord Stanley's Cup

A Poem by Will

The sheen of white ice,
The gleam of silver skates,
and the glint of crimson blood
All reflect beautifully into
Lord Stanley's Cup

The effort of a lifetime,
The sweat of long hard months,
and the fists of angry wingers
All come together to earn
Lord Stanley's Cup

The grail held high,
The tears roll down,
And the smiles beam
All in the wake of
Lord Stanley's Cup

This one is perfect just as it is, Will - a tribute for hockey fans everywhere! Great descriptions of visions seen at a hockey game, and you kept it simple so that even a novice could appreciate the game. Bravo!
