NeverLand

NeverLand

A Poem by Will
"

The second star to the right

"
Can we fly away to NeverLand, my love?
A place where we never grow old!

Can we fly away to NeverLand, my dear?
A place where we'll never be cold!

Shouldn't we fly to NeverLand, my sweet?
Where I can hold you in my arms!

Shouldn't we fly to Neverland, my darling?
Where I can protect you from all harms!

Let's fly away to NeverLand, dear,
Where adults have no sway!

Let's fly away to NeverLand, babe,
Where we can have our own way!

But no, we cannot fly to NeverLand,
We cannot venture to that second star to the right.

But no, we cannot fly to NeverLand,
A life without you is my plight.

Indeed!
Neverland... if only! This is a great poem, Will! Good rhyme and rhythm, and as I read each line, I was there.
