Colors

A Poem by Will
"

Trying to beat the writer's block

"
Red is the color of love
Passion and caring and lust
I love you

Blue is the color of sadness
Lost souls and fallen stars
I am sad

Purple is the color of peace
Serenity and quiet
Peaceful is the poet

Yellow is the color of happiness
Of children playing and choirs singing
Happy are we

Gray is the color of decline
Middle age and the elderly
We are all graying

Black is the color of death
Loss and fear of the end
We are all dead

White is the color of it all
Encompassing everything and encompassed by everything
I am white
