SheA Poem by WillI can't get her out of my head
She invades my every thought
An unwelcome guest Her voice rings in my head Like churchbells in the dead of night Her face flashes through my mind Mona Lisa blocking my view of life Her laugh jingles in my ears Laughing at my pain I miss her with all my soul And I shouldn't be so bitter But I cannot fight it The story just can't be over But it is She's not coming back So I sit and wallow in my pain And drown it in ink Perhaps my bitterness will leave my thoughts Perhaps so will she © 2013 WillAuthor's Note
