The Best Laid Plans?

The Best Laid Plans?

A Poem by Will
"

...

"
At first, we were simply friends,
But now we are much much more

I was hesitant to try,
But your friends had convinced me

So I stew in my own thoughts,
Thinking of just what to do

Thus, I take up pen and pad,
And write this piece just for you

I plan my delivery,
Alas, plans of mice and men

But today, mice and men win!
No longer do they fear loss

And I will hold you near me, long enough to please us both

They won't all end like that, but when they do it's fun to write. Thanks for the feedback!
