His only friend was LonelinessA Poem by WillHBIIIa ghost storyLoneliness
my companion in life We
traveled unnoticed and free No
strife friction or pain-Infliction Our
enemies; one with indecision We
sipped coffee freely alone Watching
the world go by In
spite of my nonexistence The
wind snaps cold across The
chilled nose of wilderness But
we are now free From
chills me and he Whom
no other can know The
sun scorns scorched toes Those
lives that barefoot go But
we are now free From
the Christ’s punishing crown From
its relentless burning wrath Me
and He who walks Without
feet void of path I
alone am his death He
was born my ghost Once
we may have lived Hard
in the terrible throws Of
juvenile adolescent fevered angst The
pit of misunderstood fait The
pit; sorrow and woe We
chose not to breathe Over
a death in breath I
lived free with loneliness And
he is still here I
alone am his death He my only beloved ghost We
fell together as one Forever
alone unfixed from hope In love with suicide rope
