The Cradle

The Cradle

A Poem by LyricistWannaB

Wandering toward a destination,
Once known
A wayward wind is intensely blowin'-
Our spirits
In the direction of darkness.
Clouds once peppered the azure sky,
Smiling through raindrops so high.
Clouds now cradle the daily norm
Comfort during the fury of a wayward storm.
With the storm's passing,
May clouds co-exist
In time-
And release you to the light,
Un-cradled and reborn.

Your imagery here is very good! I love the last line. So filled with hope and the promise of rebirth. We all need that at times.
