Butterflies

Butterflies

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

I love you, but I'll never tell you..

"

I look at her, and think

you never loved me like that

Never calling

or going out of your way to see me

Kindness was flawed in your actions

you gave me butterflies with your words

and struck me silent with your stare

It was beautiful the way you moved close to me

and harsh when you turned away

It hurts when I think of what you never did

I tried to give you everything

but it was just not enough

I love you once, meant the world

Not anymore

sorry

not anymore

I only hope that she knows

she has the world, in your arms

I look at her, and think

you never loved me like that

I miss your eyes

sweet butterfly
