A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

Dark Shadows..

"

Trying to kill

Poison in a teacup

You’ve seen her face in

     the moonlight

She, who wields the knife

Folding black paper

In corners of an empty room

His cursed face leaves him cold

     and alone

I’ve left the pearls on the floor

     my soul in your eyes

She’s trying to kill you!

I’ve seen her

Trying to kill

Nice use of dark imagery. perhaps take first 'the' out in "I've left the pearls on the floor" Instead of ending with "I've seen her / Trying to kill" end with "I've seen her / [insert description of an action]" It is a great moment to end either with a bang or a whisper

There's way too many possibilities for symbolism and representations for mento elaborate on:)
I love it, that's about as far as I can go with this one

is this about a wife trying to poison her husband? either way this poem is subtle with its darkness. right up my street. well done!
