Split Second Chill

Split Second Chill

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

I don't want something so perfect..

"

A flake of sweetness

in your eyes

in my mouth

on my tongue

Forever in your arms

cradles of sadness

saddles of brokenness

Thanks for your patience

your game starts soon

Doors of time

passages of your heaven

crash against busted teeth

I’m leaving

I’m leaving

Crash against busted teeth

I’m leaving

Ouch, this is a deeply saddening piece of poetry. It speaks to me of lost loves, hopes and dreams.
