The Circle of Life

The Circle of Life

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

Let the Child be the Child..

"

Sparkling faintly in distant light

life’s responsibilities cupped in warm hands

those of a child

The light grows dimmer

responsibilities can no longer be held

The child finally lets shattered glass leave her hands

to forever stain the floors
